Hospitality Uniforms & Chef Whites
Branded uniforms for hospitality and catering
Embroidered chef whites, aprons, front-of-house shirts and polos for restaurants, pubs, cafes, hotels, contract caterers and event teams. Supplied and decorated in-house in Birmingham, with no minimum order.
Hospitality uniform gets judged twice. Once by the customer, who reads it in about two seconds and decides whether this is a place that has its act together, and once by the laundry, which will do its best to destroy it. A uniform that only survives the first test looks tired within a month. One that only survives the second looks like a work shirt with a badge on it.
We supply the garments and brand them ourselves in our Birmingham workshop, so the durability question is not something we pass on to a supplier. If a decoration will not last your wash cycle, we will tell you before you order it, not after.

Front of house, back of house, and what changes
| Area | Usual garments | Branding that works |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen | Chef jacket, apron, skull cap or cap | Embroidery. Heat, grease and hot washing rule out most prints. |
| Bar and floor | Polo, shirt, waist apron | Embroidered chest, sometimes a small back or nape mark. |
| Coffee and counter | Tee, bib apron, cap | Print for a bold logo on the apron, embroidery on the cap. |
| Events and pop-ups | Tee, hoodie, cap | DTF, because runs are small, colours are loud and setup fees would eat the budget. |
| Management | Shirt, knitwear, softshell | Small embroidered logo. Understated is the point. |
Branding that survives a commercial wash
Kitchen and floor garments get washed hot and often, and that is what decides the decoration method. Embroidery is stitched thread, so 60°C washing does not lift it. It is why chef whites, aprons and front-of-house polos are almost always embroidered rather than printed.
Print is the right answer for aprons carrying a big graphic logo, for event and festival tees, and for anything with detail or gradients that embroidery cannot hold cleanly at chest size. DTF starts at £1.75 a print with no setup fee, which is what makes short event runs viable.
- Free mockup on the actual garment, in your colour, before you commit.
- Embroidery digitisation free on orders over £100, otherwise a one-off £15.
- No setup fee on DTF at any quantity.
- No minimum order, so a single replacement apron is fine.

Ordering for a site or a group
- Send the logo and a rough split of kitchen, floor and management headcount.
- We come back with a mockup and a price per person for each area, free.
- You approve artwork. Position, size and thread colours confirmed in writing.
- We produce it here. Typically 5 to 7 working days from approval, 7 to 10 with delivery.
- Reorders are quick. Artwork stays on file, which matters in a sector with this much staff turnover.
Groups running several sites usually want a trade account, so every venue orders the same kit at the same price without anyone re-explaining the brand each time.
Frequently asked questions
Will the branding survive a commercial laundry?
Embroidery will. It is stitched thread, so hot washing is not a problem. Prints vary, and on kitchen garments we will usually steer you to embroidery for exactly this reason.
Can you embroider chef names on jackets?
Yes, per garment, alongside the venue logo. Common for head chefs and sous chefs, less so for the whole brigade because of turnover.
We are opening in six weeks. Is that enough time?
Comfortably, if artwork is settled. Production is typically 5 to 7 working days from approval. The thing that delays openings is not us, it is deciding the uniform.
Do you have a minimum order?
No. One apron or a full opening kit-out, both are normal.
Can you match our brand colours exactly?
We match thread and ink as closely as the garment allows and show you on a mockup before anything is made. Fabric affects how a colour reads, which is why we mock it up rather than describe it.
Can we order for several venues on one account?
Yes. One account, one invoice, split by site if you want it that way.
