Catering Workwear With Your Logo

Catering workwear with your logo

Chef jackets, aprons, kitchen tunics and front of house uniforms, branded with your logo for restaurants, cafes, takeaways, contract caterers and event kitchens. Free logo mockup, no minimum order, UK-wide delivery from Birmingham.

Catering workwear has a harder life than almost any other uniform. It gets splashed, stained, washed hot several times a week and worn through long shifts in a hot kitchen. The right garments survive that and still look sharp in front of customers. The wrong ones fade, shrink and lose their shape within a couple of months.

What a catering team usually needs

Role Typical kit per person Branding
Chefs and kitchen staff 3 chef jackets or tunics, 2 to 3 aprons, a skull cap or bandana Embroidered chest logo, survives hot washing
Front of house 3 polos or shirts, 1 to 2 bib or waist aprons Small chest logo on the shirt, larger logo on the apron
Kitchen porters 3 t-shirts or polos, 2 heavy duty aprons Simple chest logo
Event and outside catering Polos, aprons and a branded layer for outdoor service Logo on the front, name on the back if needed

Three of anything worn next to the skin is the number that works. One on, one in the wash, one spare. With fewer, staff end up turning up in their own clothes.

Catering workwear we brand

Embroidery or print for catering workwear?

  • Chef jackets and tunics: embroidery. It is stitched thread, so it stands up to the hot washing that kitchen hygiene demands.
  • Aprons: either works well. Embroidery for a premium look, print for a larger or full-colour logo.
  • Front of house polos: embroidery for a smart look, unless the polo is a lightweight polyester, where print is the better choice.
  • Waterproof or wipe-clean aprons: we print rather than embroider, because stitching punches holes that let water through.

Choosing catering garments that last

  1. Check the wash temperature. If your kitchen washes at 60°C or above, choose polyester or a polyester-rich blend. Pure cotton shrinks and fades fast at those temperatures.
  2. Pick colours that hide stains. Black, navy, charcoal and denim apron fabrics stay presentable far longer than pale colours. Chef whites are the exception, as they are designed to be bleached.
  3. Keep it repeatable. Choose ranges that stay in stock, so a new starter's kit matches everyone else's.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum order for branded catering workwear?

No. You can order a single chef jacket or apron. The more you order, the lower the price per item.

Can you add staff names to chef jackets?

Yes. Names can be embroidered per garment alongside your logo.

Is there a setup charge for embroidery?

Your logo is digitised once for embroidery. It is free on orders over £100 (otherwise a one-off £15), and every reorder after that uses the same file.

Can you match our existing uniforms?

Usually, yes. Send us a photo or the label details and we will find the same garment or the closest match in stock.
