How we brand it
Picking the method is our job, not yours. But this is the thinking, so you know what to expect.
Embroidery
Our Tajima twin-head and 15-head machines. The right call for the 350 gsm brushed hoodies and crews, the piqué polos, and anything worn client-facing. Stitch reads as permanent and premium, and it survives industrial washing. We hold your digitised file, so every reorder matches the first one exactly.
DTF print
Full-colour, photographic detail, gradients and fine linework, with no setup fee whatever the colour count. This is what we use for large backs, for the lightweight jersey tees where embroidery would pull, and for artwork that would cost a fortune to screen print in small runs.
Screen print, DTG and heat transfer
Still the right answer sometimes. Screen print earns its place on long runs of one or two colours. We will tell you when it does rather than defaulting to whichever machine is free.

The sustainability story, in plain terms
If someone in your business has to justify the purchase, here is what stands behind it. GOTS certifies the organic cotton from post-harvest right through to the finished garment, so the organic claim is traceable rather than decorative. GRS covers the recycled cotton, polyester and nylon in the blended styles, including the social and chemical requirements, not just the fibre content. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 confirms the finished garment carries no substances harmful to skin. And Stanley/Stella has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since 2012, which means independent third-party audits of the factories rather than a self-declared code of conduct.
Worth saying plainly: we are the decorator, not the manufacturer. Those certifications are Stanley/Stella’s and we are repeating them, not certifying them ourselves. If you need the paperwork for a tender or an ESG report, ask us and we will get you the current documents.

Questions we get asked
Do you do both embroidery and DTF printing in-house?
Yes. We run embroidery and DTF print on our own machines in Birmingham, alongside screen print, DTG and heat transfer. We choose the right method for your garment and your logo, and we never send decoration out to a third party.
What is the minimum order for Stanley/Stella?
There is no real minimum. We will brand a run of five as happily as five hundred, and you can reorder a single item later without paying setup again.
Can I mix styles and sizes in one order?
Yes. Most orders do. You can mix tees, hoodies and polos, unisex and women’s Stella cuts, and any sizes across the XXS to 5XL range, and it is all one order with one logo setup.
Which Stanley/Stella style should I choose for staff uniforms?
For most teams: the Creator 2.0 tee as the everyday layer, the Prepster 2.0 polo where it needs to look smarter, and the Cruiser 2.0 hoodie over the top. That trio covers almost every situation and all three take a chest logo well. Send us a photo of your team and we will make a recommendation.
Is the organic cotton claim genuine?
Yes, and it is certified rather than asserted. The cotton is GOTS-certified, which requires traceability from post-harvest through to the finished garment, and the recycled content in the blended styles is GRS-certified. We can supply the current certificates if you need them for a tender.
How long does an order take?
It depends on the decoration method, the quantity and where the stock is sitting on the day. Tell us your deadline when you ask for the quote and we will tell you straight away whether it is achievable rather than finding out later.
Can I see it before I order?
Yes, two ways. Send us your logo and we will produce a free mockup on the actual garment in your actual colour, and if you want to feel the fabric first we can arrange a sample.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes, nationally. To one address, or split direct to each person if you are kitting out a team across multiple sites.
