Henbury branded corporate uniforms

Polos, shirts, knitwear and chinos built for teams who wear them five days a week, embroidered in-house and delivered UK-wide. Nearly every style has a women’s cut that actually fits.

The uniform range that solves the two problems everyone hits

Corporate uniform buying goes wrong in the same two ways almost every time.

The first is the women on your team. Plenty of ranges show a men’s polo and a men’s shirt, and then quietly expect half your staff to wear a small men’s size. It fits nobody, it looks like it fits nobody, and it is the single most common complaint we hear once a uniform lands. Henbury is built the other way round: the polos, the Oxford shirts, the Coolplus shirts, the cardigans, the fleeces and the chinos nearly all have a proper women’s cut in the same fabric and the same colour, so a mixed team looks like one team.

The second is heat. A reception, a bar, a busy shop floor or a warm office in July will beat a standard cotton polo by lunchtime. Henbury’s Coolplus fabric is a wicking finish that moves sweat away rather than holding it, and it is the reason the Coolplus polo is the single deepest-stocked Henbury line we hold. If your staff are on their feet indoors, that is the one to look at first.

Beyond those two, it is a genuinely complete range. You can dress a front-of-house team from polo to cardigan to chino out of one brand, in colours that match across every garment, which is what stops a uniform looking assembled from three different catalogues.

The Henbury styles we brand most

Grouped by the job they do. A red tag means there is a matching women’s cut in the same fabric and colours. Prices are for the garment before decoration.

Polos

Henbury HB475 Coolplus polo shirt in airforce blue
Women’s cut tooHB475

Coolplus® polo shirt

The one we sell most of, and the right default for anyone working indoors. The wicking finish is what keeps a bar or reception team comfortable through a full shift, and it is why this outsells every other Henbury line we hold.

Henbury HB400 65/35 classic pique polo shirt
Women’s cut tooHB400

65/35 classic piqué polo

The value workhorse. Polycotton holds its shape and its colour through constant washing better than pure cotton does, which is the whole argument for a uniform polo. Kit out a large team without the conversation about budget.

From £10.99Garment onlyView →
Henbury HB101 micro-fine pique polo shirt
Women’s cut tooHB101

Micro-fine piqué polo

A finer knit than the classic piqué, so it reads smarter from across a room. The one to pick when the polo is client-facing and you want it to look closer to a shirt than to sportswear.

Henbury HB465 recycled polyester polo shirt in bottle green
Women’s cut tooHB465

Recycled polyester polo

The same job as the Coolplus polo with a recycled-content answer attached. Worth knowing about if your organisation has to report on procurement, or if a client asks what your uniform is made from.

Shirts and blouses

Henbury HB512 modern long sleeve Oxford shirt
Women’s cut tooHB512

Modern long sleeve Oxford shirt

The proper business shirt in the range, cut slimmer than a traditional corporate block. This is what goes on a sales team, a showroom or anyone meeting clients, with a small embroidered chest logo rather than anything louder.

From £23.99Garment onlyView →
Henbury HB588 short sleeve cotton-feel Coolplus shirt in white
Women’s cut tooHB588

Short sleeve ‘cotton-feel’ Coolplus® shirt

A shirt that looks like cotton and behaves like performance fabric. The answer for hospitality, healthcare reception and anyone who needs a collar in a warm room, because a standard cotton shirt in that job is miserable by mid-afternoon.

From £21.99Garment onlyView →
Henbury HB597 women’s pleat front short sleeve blouse
Women’sHB597

Women’s pleat front blouse

A blouse rather than a women’s shirt, which is a distinction that matters to the people wearing it. Front-of-house, hotel and corporate reception teams pick this when a buttoned shirt feels too severe for the room.

Knitwear and layers

Henbury HB720 12 gauge v-neck jumper
EmbroideryHB720

12 gauge v-neck jumper

Knitwear is what makes a uniform look like a uniform rather than a giveaway. Over a shirt and under nothing else, this is the standard winter layer for offices, receptions and anywhere a fleece would look too casual.

From £25.99Garment onlyView →
Henbury HB723 women’s v-button cardigan
Women’sHB723

Women’s v-button cardigan

The garment most uniform ranges forget, and the one women on reception teams ask for by name. Warm without a jacket, smart enough to keep on all day, and it takes a small embroidered logo cleanly on the chest.

From £27.99Garment onlyView →
Henbury HB850 microfleece jacket
Women’s cut tooHB850

Microfleece jacket

Cheap enough to give everyone and warm enough that they actually keep it on. This is the layer that gets worn most in any uniform we supply, which makes it the best-value place to put your logo.

Henbury HB841 unisex sustainable hoodie in navy
EmbroideryHB841

Sustainable hoodie

For the parts of the business where a cardigan would be wrong. Warehouse, workshop, delivery drivers and younger teams, in a garment that still matches the rest of the Henbury colours so the kit stays coherent.

Trousers

Henbury HB640 65/35 flat fronted chino trousers
Women’s cut tooHB640

65/35 flat fronted chinos

The bit most uniforms leave to chance, which is why half of them look untidy. Supplying the trousers as well as the top is what turns a branded polo into an actual uniform, and these come in a women’s cut too.

Building a uniform that holds together

What we usually recommend when someone asks us to dress a whole team, rather than buy one garment.

Pick the colour first, once

Choose one core colour and one neutral, then hold them across every garment. Henbury colours run consistently across polos, shirts, knitwear and chinos, which is what lets a team in four different garments still look like one team.

Two tops, one layer, one trouser

A polo for normal days, a shirt or blouse for client-facing days, a cardigan or fleece over the top, and a chino underneath. That covers almost every business we kit out and keeps the ordering simple.

Order the women’s cuts

They cost the same. Handing out small men’s sizes is the fastest way to make a new uniform unpopular, and unpopular uniforms stop being worn.

Put the logo in one place

Left chest, same size, every garment. It sounds obvious and it is the detail most often got wrong when kit is ordered piecemeal over a year. We hold the file so it never drifts.

How we brand it

Embroidery, almost always

On polos, shirts, knitwear and fleece, stitch is the right answer. It survives repeated hot washing, it does not crack or peel the way a poorly applied transfer does, and on a corporate uniform it is what separates a company from a promotion. Our Tajima twin-head and 15-head machines run it in-house.

Names and job titles

Common on reception, hospitality and healthcare teams, and easy to add. An embroidered name under the logo, or a role on the opposite chest, and we keep the layout consistent so the twentieth one matches the first.

DTF print where it earns it

Occasionally the right call, usually for a large back logo on a fleece or hoodie, or for artwork with gradients that would not stitch cleanly. No setup fee whatever the colour count, and we will tell you when it is the better option.

Questions we get asked

Does Henbury do women’s fits?

Yes, and it is the main reason we recommend the range. Nearly every core style has a matching women’s cut in the same fabric and the same colours, including the polos, Oxford shirts, Coolplus shirts, cardigans, fleeces and chinos. They cost the same as the men’s versions. Tell us your split when you ask for a quote and we will price it properly rather than defaulting everyone to unisex.

What is Coolplus and do we need it?

Coolplus is Henbury’s wicking fabric, which moves moisture away from the skin rather than holding it. If your team works indoors in a warm room, on their feet, or in hospitality or healthcare, it is worth the small extra over a standard cotton polo. If they are mostly sat in an air-conditioned office, the 65/35 classic polo is fine.

Can you supply trousers as well as tops?

Yes. Henbury does flat-fronted and stretch chinos in men’s and women’s cuts. Supplying the trousers is what turns a branded top into a uniform, and it is the part most people leave to staff and then regret.

Is there a minimum order?

No real minimum. We will kit out a team of five as happily as five hundred, and you can reorder one shirt for a new starter without paying setup again.

Will the embroidery survive commercial laundering?

Yes. Stitch is the most durable decoration there is, which is exactly why we recommend it for uniforms that go through a hot wash several times a week. If a garment in your order is better printed than stitched, we will say so before we quote.

How do reorders work when someone joins?

We hold your digitised artwork on file, so a reorder is a phone call or an email. Same file, same stitch, same position, no proofing and no setup charge. If you would rather your team ordered their own sizes directly, we can set up a branded store for you.

Can we have names or job titles embroidered?

Yes, and it is common on reception, hospitality and care teams. A name under the chest logo, or a role on the opposite side. We keep the layout and font consistent across the whole order and across later reorders.

Can I see it before I order?

Yes. Send us your logo and we will produce a free mockup on the actual garment in your actual colour, and we can arrange a sample if you want to check the fabric and the fit before committing a whole team.

Send us your artwork and tell us who needs kitting out. We will come back with a mockup on the actual garment, a straight price, and a recommendation on which styles to put your team in.
